The University has 13 halls of residence, accommodating about 35% of its full-time student population. However, most of the places in these halls are for undergraduate students.

Applications for hall accommodation from current students have to be made in April. Applications from first-year local students are made in August. Application forms are available from the Academic Services Office, Room UG-05, Knowles Building.

Residential accommodation is provided exclusively for postgraduate students at the following locations:

a) Graduate House, opened in 1998, provides 190 single rooms and 9 double rooms (for married couples only) for full-time postgraduate students. All the rooms are fully furnished and air-conditioned, and equipped with an individual phone line and an access point to the Internet. Each double room has a self-contained bathroom, while two single rooms share a common bathroom. Each alternate floor of the residential building has a student lounge and pantry.
