Primarily designed to meet the information needs of international non government organisations working in China, it is also available to the broader community of development agencies, to academic and research institutions, libraries, media organisations and to Chinese institutions and societies.
It is published by the Asia Pacific Social Development Research Centre, an independent research centre located within City University of Hong Kong.
Bi-monthly issues include news reports, sectoral analyses, regional surveys, profiles of funding institutions and Chinese organisations, detailed descriptions of noteworthy projects, summaries of donor activities and digests of projects in particular sectors.
Subscriptions: US$100, or equivalent in any convertible currency, for one year (six issues), plus postage (Hong Kong: US$3; Asia: US$6; rest of the world: US$12).
