| INTRODUCTION |
| The HKU Cognitive
Science Centre was set up in 1994. A main aim of the centre is
to facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration, to bring together researchers
within the University who are working on projects of a cognitive science
nature.
Many fellows of the Centre are actively involved in the Bachelors degree programme in Cognitive Science, which started in 1995. The programme is designed not just to provide students with a sound foundation of the subject. It also aims to equip them with the necessary scientific and personal skills to enter into IT-related and other techology areas in the new knowledge economy. Further information :
