at these. To help you make the most of these events, please
keep in mind the following information and HKU protocol:
Our “Weekly
Notice to the Media” is a concise, online bulletin
sent out every Friday to let you know about HKU events
that will be coming up in the next week. If you would
like to receive these notices, please register
online , or go to the Media
page to see the Weekly Notices.
If you require
expert opinions on certain topics, you may approach
HKU lecturers and professors in the relevant disciplines.
Their contact details can be found in the Media
Contact Directory. Alternatively, you can email your
questions together with your name, company, email address,
telephone number to Ms Trinni Choy, or fax them to our Press Team at 2858
4986.
All photography,
filming or video-recording on HKU premises for
commercial and/or editorial purposes require prior consent
from the University. To apply, please contact us by phone
at the numbers shown below or by email at hkumedia@hku.hk
as early as possible.
In certain cases, some
HKU events are open to the public. Members
of the media who wish to attend these events should go
to the Events
page for details.
Members of the media
are encouraged to use the HKU logo, however
prior approval from the University is required. Please
contact us by email at hkumedia@hku.hk.
Members of the media
who attend our events or activities will be given media
passes at the media reception table for identification.
Please wear these at all times so that we can better serve
you.
Members of the media
who attend official events or activities will have their
on-campus parking fee waived -- please
just ask for the waiver pass at the media reception table.
We regret, however, that parking spaces are limited and
subject to availability.
