Clinical/Non-Clinical Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine

Applications are invited for appointment as Clinical/Non-Clinical Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in the field of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine.  The appointment will be made from as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis in the first instance, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

The Centre for Reproduction, Development and Growth (CRDG) is a newly established and expanding research centre which aims to provide a fertile environment for discovery and translational research in the areas of Reproduction, Developmental Genetics and Functional Genomics, Genetics of Disorders, Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine, through multi-disciplinary research involving clinicians and scientists with excellent track records. To establish the CRDG as a world-class research centre, we seek outstanding scientists and clinicians with proven track records, in the area of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine.  Further information about the CRDG can be obtained at http://www.hku.hk/crdg/.

Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree or medical degree with an excellent publication record in the above research area.  For Associate Professorship and above, the appointee should also have a record of successful external grant applications.  The appointment shall be made jointly in CRDG and an appropriate academic department in the Faculty.  Applicants should submit a completed application form, together with a full C.V. and a research plan.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary, as well as leave, and medical/dental benefits.  Housing benefits will be provided as applicable.
