Selection Day


The "Young Leaders of Tomorrow" Selection Day on March 16, 2008 saw intense competition at Loke Yew Hall as 89 applicants went all out competing for 40 awards. Students were divided into 10 teams to compete in face-offs against each other in a group presentation competition, after which they were confronted by the challenge of a group interview. A special mention must go to all the panel members, comprising donors, secondary school principals, alumni and friends of HKU, who put a great deal of effort and enthusiasm into the selection process, and made it a fruitful event for all participants and students.
