Applications are invited for admission in September 1999 to the Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics Programme.

Applicants should hold either a Bachelor's degree of this University or of another University or comparable institution; or another qualification of equivalent standard accepted for this purpose. You may be required to satisfy the examiners in a qualifying examination which will assess your ability to follow the course. The Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics programme extends over two academic years of part-time study.

Application forms and information on the curriculum may be obtained in person at the Academic Services Enquiry Office, Room UG-05, Knowles Building or the English Centre, Room 705, 7/F, K K Leung Building, The University of Hong Kong or by written request to the same offices. Postal requests should include a self-addressed stamped (HK$8.20) envelope measuring 31cm x 23cm (A4 size). Application forms can also be downloaded from the website: http://www.hku.hk/rss.
