Applications are invited for admission in September 1999 to the full-time and part-time Postgraduate Certificate in Education programme.

The Postgraduate Certificate in Education is primarily designed to prepare University graduates for secondary school teaching in Hong Kong. The curriculum extends over one academic year of full-time study or two academic years of part-time study.

The full-time programme is intended primarily for students without prior secondary school teaching experience, and the part-time programme is designed for serving teachers normally with at least one year of relevant teaching experience or its equivalent.

Application forms and information on the curriculum may be obtained in person at the Academic Services Enquiry Office, Room UG-05, Knowles Building, or the Faculty of Education Office, Room 219, Knowles Building, The University of Hong Kong or by written request to the same offices. Postal requests should include a self-addressed stamped (HK$8.20) envelope measuring 31cm x 23cm (A4 size). The regulations and syllabuses for the Postgraduate Certificate in Education are currently being revised.
