Consulate General of France in Hong Kong offers this year again
6 Excellence Scholarships to Hong Kong and Macao students.
This programme is named after Alexandre Yersin, a famous French
scientist from the Institut Pasteur who discovered the plague
bacillus in Hong Kong in 1894.
The scholarships cover fields
such as Business and management, Law, Political Sciences, Science,
Engineering, Design and Architecture, Fine Arts.

|
The University of Hong Kong Libraries is mounting this exhibition in collaboration with Dr Geoffrey Blowers of the Department of Psychology.
The exhibition presents a history of psychoanalytic activities in France including representative figures in the psychoanalysis of children, the thoughts of Sigmund Freud; the contributions to psychoanalysis by Lacques Lacan and the activities he organized under the auspices of l'Ecole Freudienne de Paris; the relationship between philosophy and psychoanalysis and the challenges the latter has to face.
