It represents the French business community at the International Business Committee, an organization designed to exchange views with the Hong Kong government over matters of interest and concern to the International Business Community in Hong Kong.
The French Chamber's mission is to contribute to developing and improving the economic, commercial and financial relations between France and Hong Kong by:
- providing an information platform, business services and networking opportunities
- promoting Members' interests and convey their views to decision makers in the Government and Industry
- developing an extensive program of communication (publications, website..) and actions (events, seminars, missions...)
The French Chamber in Hong Kong has been an unwavering support for the Pasteur-Asia Virology Course. During its 2007 Annual Gala Dinner, the French Chamber had graciously decided to
choose the HKU-Pasteur Research Centre as the evening's charitable
organization to which proceeds of the tombola (147K HKD) have been
donated to support its educational programs.
