Research Description
I am interested in various fields of diagnostic haematopathology including peripheral blood and bone marrow morphology, immunophenotyping, haemoglobin study, coagulation and blood banking. My current research interests are on genetics of thalassaemia and its phenotypic modulation, and prognostic factors of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia. I am also involved in molecular studies on myeloid and plasma cell malignancies.
