Research Interests :  
  • Drug development for peptic ulcer and inflammatory bowel diseases; special interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine and its application in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Pathogenesis of experimental ulcers, inflammation and cancer in the gastrointestinal tract, especially with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and cigarette smoking.
