The RESPARI program consists of several components that are funded by distinct organizations and granting agencies.

The Agence Française de Développement (AFD) supports entirely SISEA , a public health-oriented project that is devoted to the improvement of the detection and handling of epidemic situations in South East Asia (Cambodia, China, Laos and Vietnam). The agreement to implement this strategic programme was signed on 9th June 2006 by Mr Jean-Michel Debrat, Deputy Director General of AFD and Prof. Alice Dautry, Director General of Institut Pasteur-Paris.

A special contribution has been received from the French Ministry of Health (FMoH) in 2004 to promote the activity of Pasteur Centers of the Asia-Pacific region.

The RESPARI programme has established a strong relationship with the Li Ka Shing Foundation (LKSF) through a multi-centre grant that covers several aspects of WP1 and WP2.

An agreement between Institut Pasteur-Paris and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) was reached in 2006 and involved building capacity in the Pasteur Network in Asia as well as in Africa.
